Cranston Starbucks Holding Fundraiser For Local Animal Shelter

Anyone who makes a donation will receive a free coffee at the Chapel View Starbucks in Cranston.

CRANSTON, RI — All throughout the month of July, you can donate to a good cause and get rewarded for it. The Starbucks at Chapel View in Cranston is sponsoring a donation drive for a local animal shelter all month long, and anyone who gives will receive a free grande coffee.

The drive is to benefit the East Greenwich Animal Protection League Heart of Rhode Island, a shelter in Cranston that houses and re-homes animals. The organization is looking for a variety of items to continue its mission.

A donation box is located inside the Starbucks in the Chapel View shopping plaza in Cranston. Anyone who donates will receive a free grande beverage.

The following items are needed:

  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • Bleach
  • Paper towels
  • Swiffer wetpads
  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Dog treats, particularly Pupperoni brand
  • Dog and cat toys
  • Dog and puppy collars and leashes
  • Petco gift cards
