Dave Koz Makes Only New England Appearance at RI's Park Theatre

On August 22, 2019, at 8 p.m., the Hereford Entertainment Group in partnership with the historic Park Theatre present Dave Koz and Friends – Summer Horns in their only New England appearance this summer. As always, Koz will bring in an impressive group featuring, Gerald Albright, Rick Braun, Kenny Lattimore and Aubrey Logan.

In a career that spans more than three decades, saxophonist Dave Koz has racked up an astoundingly impressive array of honors and achievements: nine GRAMMY®️ nominations, nine number one albums on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, numerous world tours, playing for multiple presidents, a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and more.

Now, Dave Koz has released one of the most exciting recordings of his long career. Five years after recording their initial tribute to the great horn sections of soul, jazz and pop, Dave Koz and Friends’ Summer Horns II From A To Z reprises the all-star, crowd-pleasing format of that smash hit album. Joining Koz this year will be Saxophonist Gerald Albright, Trumpeter Rick Braun, Vocalist Kenny Latimore and Trombone/Vocalist Aubrey Logan (from Postmodern Jukebox fame).

About the Park Theatre Complex

Built in 1924, the Park Theatre was a cultural landmark for nearly eight decades until its closing in 2002. Following seven years and $10 million in renovations, the Park Theatre was reborn as Rhode Island’s newest performing arts center.
