PROVIDENCE, RI — Tuesday is National Pancake Day, and IHOP is once again giving away free short stacks of pancakes in exchange for a donation to help sick children. Six restaurant locations in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts will give their proceeds to Hasbro Children's Hospital.

"Invite family and friends to join you and don’t forget to share on social media tagging #NATLPancakeDay and #HasbroChildrensHospital," the hospital said in a statement. "Any donations made will go directly towards supporting the children and families of Hasbro Children's Hospital."

The breakfast chain will offer free short stacks of pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Diners are asked to make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network. While any amount will be accepted, donations are asked to be at least $6, or the cost of a short stack. Participants will also have the chance to win one of several national giveaways from IHOP.
