Foster Police Dispatcher Dies Of Coronavirus
Dispatcher Patrick Dragon was a retired Connecticut State Trooper and deputy chief of the East Brooklyn Fire Department.
FOSTER, RI — A dispatcher with the Foster Police Department died of COVID-19 over the weekend, according to the department's chief. Patrick Dragon was a retired Connecticut state trooper and the deputy chief of the East Brooklyn, Connecticut Fire Department.
Dragon died Saturday night "after a valiant battle," Chief Favid Breit said.
"[He] was a great person, kind, caring and a friend to all who met him," Breit said. "There are not enough words, to describe the kind of person that Patrick was. The men and women of the Foster Police Department, express our deepest sympathies to Patrick's family."
