Mighty Simba - adoptable, big, orange & white cat

Adoptable at Warwick Animal Shelter

A year ago, Simba’s house caught on fire and his owners left him behind. Fortunately, the landlord saw Simba needed help and brought him to the shelter.

The name “Simba” is of African origin and means mighty or lion. Simba definitely lives up to his name as he is mighty big, weighing in at 17 pounds! He’s on a strict feeding schedule now and in his new home, Simba will not be able to free-feed or he will regain all the weight he has lost here.

Simba is a relaxed, laid-back, big guy, around 9 years old. His fur is mostly white with orange patches and big round orange eyes and puffy lips. He likes to be brushed, play, enjoys climbing up and perching on a cat tree.

He is not a fan of dogs, and may be able to live with another cat if the right match.

Simba is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

The best home would be with a cat-savvy adult(s) without kids. We don’t feel he is suitable for a senior home or home with young children, as he has moody moments.

Simba is fond of human companionship and conversations, and in the right home, he will bring a lot of joy, love and pleasure!
