Jenney Martinelli of MadMilkPVD and Jeremiah Bermel of Bowling Shoes present the first ever Milky Shoes: Pop-Up Shop, Art Gallery, & Music Gig. Held at the SOSICO storefront in West Warwick, RI (751 Main Street, West Warwick, RI), this weekend will feature a variety of different artists and vendors, from visual art, to vintage clothing, to music. Stop by SOSICO the evening of Friday, August 23rd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm for the Gallery Opening Reception. For more shopping and art, the pop-up will also be open Saturday, August 24th from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sunday, August 25th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Featured artists and vendors include: MadMilkPVD (printmaking, visual art, clothing), Leather & Lace RI (vintage clothing & accessories), Sophia Gilbert (visual art), Molly Dimartino (handmade earrings), Andrew Mignacca (figure painting), Sydney Sousa (abstract art), Jessica Muro (photography), Brie Bryer (visual art), Kannetha Brown (photography), The Halliday Twins (surrealist visual art), DeadZest (street art), and ParisParis (printmaking, visual art, clothing).

Following Sunday’s pop-up shop will be a pop-up music gig featuring Cavalier (Providence, RI), Cheem (CT), Daisybones (Lowell, MA), and Bowling Shoes (Boston, MA). Admission for the gig is $5 and it begins at 6:00.
