Obituary: Donald R. Gravell, 68, Manager at Taco, Inc.

The LaSalle Academy graduate also loved the Boston Red Sox and Providence College Friars and was a frequent season ticket holder.

Donald R. Gravell, 68, of Hope, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Baker) Gravell. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Donald and Rosa (Joly) Gravell.

Donald was employed as a customer service manager for Taco, Inc for 20 years before retiring. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy (1966) and Providence College (1971). Donald was an avid Boston Red Sox and PC Friar fan for over 50 years and a season ticket holder for much of that time. He also loved to golf and play softball.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Bethany Gravell of Denver, CO and Jared Gravell of Hope; dear siblings, Alan Gravell of Cranston, Patricia Kendall of St. Augustine, FL and Brian Gravell of Sterling, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 144 Danielson Pike, Scituate. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm.
