Obituary: Fred A. Presciutti, 95

Fred A. Presciutti, 95, of Cranston, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Filomena (DeRita) Presciutti. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Julia (Lepre) Presciutti. Fred was an avid bowler and a Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Sandra Piscione and her husband Bob of Johnston and Joanne DeFusco and her husband Raymond of Cranston. Fred was the cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of five. He was a brother of two sisters Angelina D’Alfonso of Lincoln and Teresa Ruggieri of West Warwick, two brothers Alex Presciutti of West Warwick and Americo Presciutti of North Providence and the late Jean Bamford.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
