Vincent T. Cappelli, Sr., 86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

Vincent T. Cappelli, Sr., 86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Kent Regency Healthcare Center, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of fifty-six years to Janet A. (Whelpley) Cappelli. Vincent was a truck driver for the former Almac’s Supermarkets for over twenty years until its closing. He was a member of Union Local #251, East Providence. Vincent was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War era. He was a former member of the Johnston Volunteer Fire Department, and an avid bowler at Town Hall Lanes, Johnston.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving son, Vincent T. Cappelli, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Marisa Lyn and Giana Rose Cappelli. Vincent was the last of his siblings.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS Monday 10:00-11:00 a.m.
