Only One Day Without Any Rain In Rhode Island This May
The National Weather Service reported that there was only one day without any rain on record from May 1 through 17.
PROVIDENCE, RI — No, you're not imagining it: it's been a ridiculously rainy spring in Southern New England. In fact, Providence won a depressing title from the National Weather Service Boston: least number of days without rain from May 1 through May 17. In the first half of the month, Rhode Island's capital city saw just one day with no precipitation at all on record.
Massachusetts didn't fare much better: Boston came in second place with two days without rain and Worcester in third with just three days without rain.
The answer is: PROVIDENCE! Since May 1st, Providence has only had ONE day where no precipitation (0.00") was recorded. Boston → TWO days without precip since May 1st Worcester → THREE days without precip since May 1st Hartford → FOUR days without precip since May 1st https://t.co/D18SdMm0r5

This weekend, the weather has finally improved, with sunshine and warm temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday, though showers are expected to move in again on Sunday night. The beginning of the week will be mostly clear and sunny, so here's hoping the warm weather is here to stay.
