Police Investigating Death Of 9-Month-Old Baby

The investigation led police to search a house in West Greenwich.

CRANSTON, RI — A nine-month-old baby boy died on Wednesday, police said. The investigation ibnto his death led state police to a house in West Greenwich.

According to police, Cranston emergency responders were called to a Lincoln Avenue house around 1 p.m., where they found the infant not breathing. He was rushed to Hasbro Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Rhode Island State Police joined the investigation and searched a West Greenwich house. The investigation is still active and no arrests have been announced at this time.
