PPAC Seeking Young Girl To Play Daughter In 'Waitress'
The Providence Performing Arts Center is looking for a girl aged four or five, no prior acting experience required.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Calling all aspiring actresses! The Providence Performing Arts Center is looking for a young girl to play Lulu in the upcoming production of "Waitress."
Lulu is the daughter of the show's main character, Jenna. She appears only in the show's finale scene. To qualify, girls must be no older than five years and three months as of April 10 and no taller than four feet, two inches.
Auditions will be held in two sessions on Wednesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at PPAC. Sessions will last approximately two hours each. Parents or guardians interested in signing their daughter up for an audition must do so before April 3 through a form on PPAC's website.

"Waitress" tells the story of Jenna, an expert pie baker and waitress who is stuck in a loveless marriage, featuring music by Sara Bareilles. The show runs May 28 through June 2. More information on the audition process and tickets is available on PPAC's website.
