Presidents Day 2021: What's Open, Closed In Rhode Island
Presidents' Day is Feb. 15, which means some businesses and other services will be closed.

The 136th Presidents' Day will be celebrated on Monday. That means sales at local businesses, school vacation and some holiday closures. Unlike earlier holidays, state-run COVID-19 test sites will not be closed Monday, a spokesperson for the Rhode Island Department of Health said.
The holiday dates back to 1885, founded to celebrate the February birthday of president No. 1, George Washington. Today, it's used as a celebration — if you want to call it that — of all U.S. presidents from Washington to Biden.
Here's a look at what's open this Presidents' Day in Rhode Island.
