RI Senate Issues Call For Submissions To Kid's Art Exhibition
Calling all young artists! You could have your artwork displayed in the State House.

The Rhode Island Senate is calling for young artists to submit their work for an exhibition in the State House at the end of the month.
The February 27 exhibition will be held from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor rotunda of the State House as a kickoff to National Youth Art Month in March. Students, families, and art educators are invited to attend. This year's theme is "Arts education creates a more vibrant Rhode Island."
“Arts are not only an important expression of ourselves and our culture, revealing important truths about our society, but also a vibrant part of our economy,” said Senator Hanna Gallo (D-Dist. 27, Cranston, West Warwick), chairwoman of the Senate Education Committee. “I’m proud to host this event to showcase the work of the young people of Rhode Island.”
