RI Weather: Midweek Snowfall Expected To Be Minimal

The National Weather Service is projecting less than an inch of snow will fall Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.

The second snowfall in as many weeks is expected to barely graze Rhode Island. The National Weather Service is expecting that the storm, expected to arrive Tuesday afternoon, will drop less than an inch of snow on the state.

In neighboring Massachusetts, the storm impacts are expected to be much higher, with upwards of 6 inches of snow forecasted for the northwest part of the state.

Following Tuesday's snow, an arctic air mass is expected to move in, plunging temperatures and wind chill factors into the single digits.
