Roger Williams Park Concert Delayed By Inclement Weather

CRANSTON, RI — Wednesday night's philharmonic concert at Roger Williams Park Zoo has been delayed due to inclement weather. The concert will now be held on Thursday.

The free concert by the Rhode Island Philharmonic will be held at the park's Temple To Music at 7 p.m.

Under the direction of Francisco Noya, the orchestra of 60 musicians will play two 45-minute sets with a 20-minute intermission. The program will include a catalog of favorites including the national anthem, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and the music of Star Wars.

A variety of Rhode Island food trucks will be at the park as well, serving a variety of food from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. More information about the event is available on the Rhode Island Foundation's website.
