The BankNewport City Center will be the site of several fun activities in the heart of the city this summer.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Lace up your skates and bring on the glitter: roller disco is coming to Providence.

This summer, the BankNewport City Center will be the site of a whole slate of fun activities, including the transformation of the ice rink into a roller rink.

"The BankNewport City Center has become a transformative outdoor public space that our residents and tourists enjoy year-round," Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza said. "Whether you’re looking to lace up your roller skates or watch a movie outdoors, our City Center has exciting outdoor programming for everyone."
