Does your child dream of playing Tiny Tim? Come audition this weekend at Cardi's Furniture in Attleboro.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Does your child dream of taking the stage as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol? Now's their chance! This Saturday, child auditions for this year's Trinity Repertory Company production will be held at Cardi's Furniture and Mattresses.

Trinity Rep's production of A Christmas Carol is a Rhode Island standby, running every holiday season for more than 40 years.

Auditions are open to children ages eight to 12. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids can try out for one of several open roles for kids, including Tiny Tim. All children must be under age 12 by December 31. Auditions will be held at the Cardi's store in Attleboro.

Children are asked to prepare 30 seconds or less of their favorite holiday song to sing at the audition and be ready to read the first and second page of the audition script. Lines do not need to be memorized, but kids should come prepared.

To be eligible, all children must be able to speak, memorize lines, sing, climb stairs and be lifted by an adult actor. All actors must have a completed audition form.
