CRANSTON, RI — Two Rhode Island natives are headed to prime time this weekend — not Super Bowl LIV, but it's cutest counterpart, the Animal Planet's annual Puppy Bowl. Two dogs from the East Greenwich Animal Protection League will be a part of this year's lineup, a pitbull named Eli and a terrier mix named Sebastian.

The organization will hold a watch party from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their 44 Worthington Rd. shelter in Cranston. Tickets cost $5 per person and can be purchased at the door. A mini "football field" will be set up for all the shelter's adoptable puppies to have a game of their own.

For more information about the event or the shelter, call 401-467-3670.
