Victim Of Warwick Hit-And-Run Dies: Police
The victim was identified as 51-year-old Donald Boss, of West Warwick.
WARWICK, RI — The man seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Airport Road early Tuesday morning has died, police said. The victim was identified as 51-year-old Donald Boss, of West Warwick.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. in front of a gas station on Airport road. Emergency responders found Boss lying in the road, seriously injured. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he later died.
The driver left before police arrived. While the investigation is still underway, police said everyone involved in the incident knew each other. Speeding or dangerous road conditions are not believed to be factors in the crash.
