What Grocery Stores Are Open On Easter 2021 In Rhode Island
There will be some options for last-minute grocery runs.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Easter Sunday has often created some last-minute meal preps, but many of the most popular grocery stores in Rhode Island either won’t be open or will have limited hours on the holiday, which falls of April 4 this year.
Popular Rhode Island grocery chain Dave's Marketplace will close all locations for the holiday.
National chains are varied in their opening plans for the holiday celebrated across Christian faiths. At least 38 chain stores plan to close for Easter, with at least 23 opening for at least a part of it, according to a list from the coupon company RetailMeNot.

Stop & Shop, will be open, but with reduced hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with senior hours from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Pharmacies will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with senior hour from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Walmart and Target are among the grocery giants staying open for at least part of the day, the list shows. Retail stores that do not specialize in groceries, such as Kohl’s, Marshalls and JCPenney, will also be closed.

Pharmacy stores with locations all over the country — such as CVS and Walgreens — will largely be open for their regular Sunday business hours.
Although the coronavirus vaccine rollout continues and many states are lifting pandemic-related restrictions, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still urges people to limit grocery trips and use curbside pickup or delivery options when possible to limit the virus’s spread.
