Animal Planet Puppy Bowl: EG's Paddington Takes The Field Sunday

EAST GREENWICH, RI—It may be Super Bowl LII for Tom Brady, but for Animal Planet fans, the big game is Puppy Bowl XIV. Sunday, at 3 p.m. East Greenwich's own puppy, Paddington, will take the field for a chance to make her mark in sports' history. It's been a big weekend for the little dog. She also participated in the run-up to the big game and had her portrait done by Paddington Bear illustrator R.W. Alley. A rescue from a high-kill shelter in the South, Paddington now has a forever home and a new name. On Puppy Bowl Sunday, her fans will be watching from 44 Worthington Road, Cranston, where the East Greenwich Animal Protection League has a party starting at 1 p.m. Tickets to the fundraiser cost $5 ($10 for the family package).
