Avenger Track Standout Connor Sheridan To Sign With West Point

EAST GREENWICH, RI— Avenger's Track and Field standout, Connor Sheridan, will sign with West Point on Wednesday, according to his family. He set 11 records at East Greenwich High during his junior year. The same year, he also broke the state high school decathlon record.

He also became the first New Englander to win the AAU Joel Ferrell award at Junior Olympics.

At a signing ceremony at 12:30 p.m. at East Greenwich High, he will commit to Track and Field at West Point. Connor is the 2017 All -American and 2017 AAU Junior Olympic Track and Field national champ in men's decathlon.
