EAST GREENWICH, RI — An East Greenwich police officer placed on administrative leave when he was accused of harassment will return to duty after those charges were dropped. East Greenwich Police Chief Stephen Brown confirmed the reinstatement to WPRI-TV.
Humberto Montalban, 58, was charged with cyber-stalking last summer after an ex-girlfriend accused him of sending her a series of harassing text messages. He was placed on administrative leave in the summer before pleading not guilty in August.
