Charles H. Fishell, 90: EG Schools Employee

Charles H. Fishell, 90, passed away June 29, 2013. He was the husband of the late Lucille E. (Johnson) Fishell.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Bernard R. and Ida M. (Congdon) Fishell.
Mr. Fishell had been employed by the East Greenwich School System for many years. He was a WWII Army Veteran, had served in the European Theater, and had participated in the Battle of the Bulge.
He is survived by his daughter, Elaine P. Currie; grandchildren, Edward Charles Fishell, Duane Raymond Fishell and Dawn M. Currie; twin great granddaughters, Sierra and Sidnei Fishell and his great grandson and name sake, Charles R. Fishell.
Committal prayers and burial with military honors will be Wednesday at 10 am at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the RI Veteran Fireman's Hall, 80 Queen St., East Greenwich, RI 02818.
