Early Dismissal For Schools Thursday Due To Snow

Snowfall is due to begin overnight and continue into Friday morning, with accumulations of 6 to 10 inches predicted.

Supt. Victor Mercurio notified families via robo call Wednesday evening that schools will be dismissed early tomorrow, in light of predictions of a significant snow storm due to arrive overnight. 

East Greenwich High School and Cole Middle School will be released at 12:45 p.m. Eldredge and Frenchtown schools will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. Hanaford and Meadowbrook Farms schools will be dismissed at 2 p.m. 

There will be no afternoon kindergarten. 

Snowfall is due to begin overnight Wednesday and continue into Friday morning, with accumulations of 6 to 10 inches predicted. The worst of the snowfall is predicted for Thursday evening to Friday.
