East Greenwich Executive Order Expands Outdoor Seating
The town manager's order allows outdoor dining capacity limits up to 100 percent of permitted capacity.
EAST GREENWICH, RI — An executive order aimed at supporting East Greenwich restaurants during the coronavirus crisis will allow approved retail establishments and restaurants to expand outdoor seating to 100 percent of licensed capacity.
The order has a maximum of 50 outdoor seats.
Changes to each individual restaurant's seating must be approved by the town's professional staff and must be compliant with Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation requirements and town ordinances.

The order is in effect until Oct. 11.
"Our small and larger businesses still need everyone's support, so please do what you can to assist local business and your local Chamber of Commerce," the Town Manager's office said.
