The East Greenwich Fire Department is selling T-shirts to raise money for the Worcester (Mass.) Fire Department Local 1099.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — The East Greenwich Fire Department is trying to do its part to help a fellow fire department that recently experienced another tragic loss. East Greenwich firefighters are selling T-shirts in honor of fallen firefighter Jason Menard to help raise money for the Worcester (Mass.) FD Local 1009.
Less than a month shy of the 20th anniversary of the Worcester Cold Storage fire —in which six Worcester firefighters lost their lives on Dec. 3, 1999 — Worcester fire was dealt another tragic blow when Lt. Jason Menard died while fighting a blaze on Nov. 13. East Greenwich Firefighters Association IAAF L 3328 had T-shirts designed through Toray plastics, Black Helmet Mafia graphics and Fresh Mode Screen Printing listing the names of the firefighters who died in the cold storage fire and Menard's name and last call.
Shirts are first-come, first-serve and in limited quantities. They are available for $20 while supplies last and come in sizes small through extra large. Those looking to purchase a shirt can go to the Local 3328 Facebook page, or see Matt Marsciarotte or Bill Perry at East Greenwich FD.
