East Greenwich 'Give A Pint, Get A Pint' Blood Drive

EAST GREENWICH, RI — With blood donations down across the country during the coronavirus health crisis there is a bigger need than ever.

Those donating a pint on Aug. 14 at the Swift Community Center will have the benefit of not only helping fill that void, but they will also benefit from a coupon with free pint of beer from participating locations.

The blood drive will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Swift Community Center on Pierce Street. All donors 21 an over will receive a coupon for one free pint of beer at The Guild in Pawtucket, Whalers in South Kingstown, the Newport Craft Brewing Company, Linesider in East Greenwich, Grey Sail in Westerly and Proclamation Ale Company in Warwick.

All those donating blood will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.

Appointments for a certain time can be made here. Walk-ins will only be accepted as space permits at the time of arrival.
