East Greenwich To Hold Special Election For School Committee

Candidates are required to file Declaration Forms in the Town Clerk's office on July 29 or 30.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — The Town of East Greenwich will hold a special election on October 5 to fill a vacant seat on the School Committee.

Candidates are required to file Declaration Forms in the Town Clerk's Office at 125 Main Street on Thursday, July 29 or Friday, July 30 by 4 p.m.

Forms will not be accepted early and those running as a party candidate must be a member of that party at the time of filing.

The elected candidate will serve on the East Greenwich School Committee until November 2022.
