EAST GREENWICH, RI — East Greenwich Free Library is closed several days this week after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus. The library is set to reopen Thursday.

"Thank you for your understanding and patience," library staff said in a statement. "We look forward to seeing you again when we re-open."

Under the current coronavirus restrictions, just 10 people are allowed in the building at a time. Both computer and browsing time are limited to 15 minutes per person, and all patrons must wear a face covering. No one is allowed in the library's lower level at this time.
