EAST GREENWICH, RI—A rainy Memorial Day has caused the East Greenwich Memorial Day Parade to be canceled.
The town joins most other communities in Rhode Island to cancel planned Memorial Day activities.
The rain is expected to last through the day and could bring periods of torrential rainfall and upwards of 2 inches in isolated areas.
