East Greenwich Summer Concert Series Resumes Thursday

EAST GREENWICH, RI —Summer concerts are back at Academy Field in East Greenwich Thursday night.

Matt Fowler and the Southbound Band are set to perform country with a little bit of rock and roll starting at 6:30.

Those attending are required to social distance with families sitting at least 6 feet away from other groups. There is no dancing in front of the band.

Face coverings must be worn while sitting at your blanket, as well as walking on and off the field.

Parents are asked to keep children seated and not running through the crowd. Those who bring children to the playground are asked to exercise caution and come back later if there is a crowd.

Restrooms will have limited access so plan ahead and bring hand sanitizer to your seat.

At the end of the show, groups must disperse and may not linger on the field.

No smoking or alcohol will be allowed. Shows will be canceled if it rains.
