East Greenwich Summer Recreation Registration To Begin Tuesday
East Greenwich will hold programs this summer in line with the state's phased-in reopening guidelines and opening of summer camps June 29.
EAST GREENWICH, RI — At a time when many were losing hope that there would be much of any organized group activities in the state this summer, the East Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department sent out a signal of promise on May 4 when it said registration for summer programs was postponed, not canceled, like many other summer programs.
The patience proved fortuitous when Gov. Gina Raimondo announced last week that summer camps would be allowed in the state — under strict guidelines and regulations — starting on June 29 as part of the phased reopening of Rhode Island.
With some programs modified to meet those guidelines, East Greenwich will proceed with registration beginning Tuesday at 11 a.m.

"As things are still fluid check back often for more updates. We will make every effort to offer summer programming this year with priority on our participants’ health and safety. We appreciate your patience."
