John DePetro Says Show Scored a First with Skype Into White House Briefing
East Greenwich resident John DePetro says he's the first New England radio show host ever to be Skyped into a White House press briefing.
EAST GREENWICH, RI—White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer answered a question from radio talk show host John DePetro at Monday's press briefing in Washington. DePetro was on Skype when he asked his question, and that's a first for New England radio talk show hosts, DePetro says.
DePetro's show airs on WADK (AM 1540) in Newport weekdays from 1 to 5 p.m. His question relayed over Skype was about the Neil Gorsuch Supreme Court nomination.
