After Betty Bun was allowed to have several litters (by what the vet found upon examination), Betty Bun was apparently set loose and abandoned, left to fend for herself. Luckily someone noticed her outside!
Betty Bun is about 3 years old and very social but still a bit skittish about being held at this point. She seems to like cats but is wary of dogs. Betty Bun uses her litter box like a champ!

Bunny PSA: Domestic rabbits cannot survive outdoors and sadly we see "set free" domestic rabbits all too often after Easter. Rabbits are a big commitment - please do not give them as gifts and be sure to learn about their living requirements (they have many) and associated costs before purchasing a rabbit. Always adopt a homeless rabbit.
A good place to learn more about rabbits is House Rabbit Society
