Poor Tyson - this beautiful boy was put outside to fend for himself when his family got a puppy that didn’t like cats. Neighbors offered food to Tyson and noticed something was wrong. You see, outside living wasn’t agreeing with Tyson and he was slowly starving. The neighbor contacted us and he was taken to the veterinarian for a thorough examination, testing and blood work.
Turns out Tyson is a lover not a fighter and just wants to be safe indoors. Tyson is very interactive and vocal - he’s a talker! Chat with Tyson and he will meow back: he enjoys long conversations about string toys and ping pong balls. He’s very tall, agile and loves to play.
We are looking for a home without young children but he may like a confident female cat. Tyson is about 5 years old, up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is neutered.
In the cat adoption room, Tyson enjoys looking out the windows, then he sort of turns around with an expression of “Nope, not going out there!” so we promised Tyson he will never have to go outside again.
