The 1,000 watt 1180 AM WCRI located in South County is up for sale. 

The first $59,000 takes it home! Price includes two transmitters with a long term transmitter site lease in place, but you’ll have to build the studio.

Just 10 years ago, Charles River Broadcasting paid $585,000.00 for said station. 

Can AM radio be saved?  Or is this more proof that internet broadcasting is the wave of the future?
