Music on the Hill offers "French Champagne" in East Greenwich

Seven concerts, June 2-12, in East Greenwich, Westerly, Warwick and Cranston

Music on the Hill's annual festival begins soon, with seven concerts around the state, June 2-12. On Monday, June 3, East Greenwich hosts an all-French program. "French Champagne" begins at 7pm at First Baptist Church, 30 Peirce Street.

The concert presents music of Saint-Saens, Debussy, Poulenc and others, with Gregory Cardi, Anton Miller & Kristen Pellegrino, violin; Rita Porfiris, viola; Trevor Handy & Elisa Kohanski, cello; John Pellegrino, bass; Bonnie Anderson, piano, Joseph Foley, trumpet; Janet Arms, flute; Rachel Miller, harp (pictured).

Summer's first music festival is also the most affordable. Tickets are just $25 at BrownPaperTickets.com or at the door (cash or check), free for students with I.D.
