New television show to start filming in Rhode Island

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WJAR) — A fundraiser was held late Saturday evening for a new television show that will start shooting next month in Rhode Island

Members of the cast of "Made in Rhode Island" were on hand at Dan's Tavern on the Green in North Kingstown.
The series is a comedy about a young woman who inherits a cigar bar and the colorful cast of customers who frequent the place.

Filming is expected to start in late June.
