North Kingstown Woman Dies Following East Greenwich Crash

EAST GREENWICH, RI — A North Kingstown woman died following a crash in East Greenwich over the weekend. Police reported the death of Patricia A. Daniels on Wednesday.

According to police, Daniels was involved in a two-car crash on Frenchtown Road on Saturday. The other three people in the car, driver Donna Daniels, of East Greenwich, Bruce Bartels, of North Kingstown, and Heather Lee of East Greenwich were also injured in the crash. The driver of the other car, Barbara Trojan, was injured as well.

The crash happened when Trojan's vehicle swerved into the opposite lane, colliding with Daniels' car, WJAR reported, causing it to roll over.

The crash is still under investigation, police said.
