Obituary: Agnes E. DiMarzo, 93, Avid Bowler, Bingo Player and Artist

Agnes E. DiMarzo, 93 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 14, 2016. She was married to the late Francesco N. “Frank” DiMarzo for 62 years. Born in New Bedford, MA she was a daughter of the late Gustave and Matilda (Guertin) Anderly.

Mrs. DiMarzo was a member of the St. Paul’s Church Bowling League and was an avid bingo player and enjoyed art & crafts, and attended Cranston Adult Day Care.

She is survived by her daughter Denise C. DiMarzo, sister-in-law Cristine Silvestri and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gustave Jr., and Henry Anderly and sister-in-law of the late Mary Ciaramello.

Funeral Monday September 19th at 9:00 am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours: Sunday September 18th from 3-6 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
