Clinton W. Cavanaugh, 88, formerly of East Greenwich, peacefully passed away October 27, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Johnson) Cavanaugh. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cavanaugh.
Mr. Cavanaugh was a retired type setter for the former M.C. Smith Company. He is survived by his five children: Marolyn L. Wallace, Stephen D., Richard D. and Paul C. Cavanaugh and Jane R. Capuano, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a sister Shirley Smith. He was predeceased by 3 siblings. His funeral will be private.
