Of the many lessons she help teach her family, the most important were: when faced with worry, choose faith; when faced with fear, choose love; when faced with sadness, choose joy. As per her request, there will be no formal service. Instead, anyone who chooses is welcome to say a few words at the grave site on Friday, August 19, at 1 pm in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Road, North Kingstown.
Immediately following, regardless of attendance at the cemetery, all are invited at 2 pm to join the family to celebrate her life at Macera's Restaurant, 1500 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston.
