Obituary: Robert B. Richards, 63

Robert B. Richards, 63, of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 28. Born in Biddeford, Maine, he grew up in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Graduated from East Greenwich High School. Served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1981. Avid golfer and New England sports fan.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rene L. and Teresa L. Richards (LeBlanc) and daughter Allyson Jean Richards.

Survived by his wife, Dora M. Richards (Hicks), son Jason E. Richards, Rebecca, daughters Crystal R. Parshall (Richards), Teresa B. Richards and son Cody L. Richards (Alexandra). Brother to Renee L. Young (Richards) and Carl H. Richards. Grandfather to eight beautiful grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the VFW at 1243 Hull Road, Mason, Michigan 48854.

Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was always always there for his family and friends. Bob's number one football team was the New England Patriots.
