Photos: EG's Kevin Morra, Family & Friends At RI International Film Festival

EAST GREENWICH, RI — 'Finding Fronsdal,' the documentary by East Greenwich's Kevin Morra, had its premiere at the Odeum at the recent Rhode Island Film Festival. Morra, who grew up a stone's throw away from the theater but now works in Hollywood, said it was a good homecoming. Plus, the film picked up an award.

"It was a tremendous weekend being home!," he said and sent some photos of the event. "Finding Fronsdal was awarded one of the Grand Prize Director Awards: 'Grand Prize Directorial Discovery Award,'" he said. "A perfect cherry on top of a remarkable time at the RIIFF."
