Shrek... is Love! and Adoptable!

Shrek is big and goofy, playful and kind - sort of like a familiar green ogre, only Shrek is black and remarkably handsome. Friendly and social, Shrek is 5 years old and loves to greet you with his favorite toy and play! Shrek LOVES his toys, he carries them everywhere!!!

Weighing about 80 pounds, he is big and strong so his guardian must be physically able to handle him. Shrek is moderately active and will require daily exercise. While at the shelter, he will be in a training program to build his skills, and training should be continued at home especially leash work. Shrek will need to be the only pet in the home, and live in an adult home or one with teenage children.

Shrek was neutered at the shelter, is up to date on vaccinations and heart worm negative. He was surrendered because his previous family could not bring him into their new living situation. Shrek has been a very good boy at the shelter, he relishes time spent playing with staff and volunteers, and being with people.
