Tio Mateo's Now Open on Cliff Street

EAST GREENWICH, RI—After a few months of renovation work, Tio Mateo’s Mexciane Grille & Greenwich Bay Gourmet is now open at 70 Cliff St.

Located in the former Print Shops building, the reopening of Tio Mateos will please loyal customers who have been without their tacos and enchiladas since January when the restaurant closed to prepare for the move.

It’s not a huge move -- just a few doors down from the original location, but the new space is roomy, bright and about as fresh as the food.

The restaurant is located at 70 Cliff St. and open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
