In Barrington, crews went out for a motorist after power lines fell on his car. The incident blocked part of Sowams Road, Barrington Fire said.

Trees and power lines went down, and roofs and even one chimney, as the nor'easter gripped Rhode Island on Friday. On Charles Street, part of a roof and a chimney were draped over the road. Crews in East Greenwich went to a Frenchtown Road house wrapped in arcing electric wires. On the East Side of Providence, a fire started outside Lincoln School where a tree and power lines went down. Watch the video to see a driver come down Butler Avenue and roll right over a live wire. (Warning, the video contains some profane language.) More problems were reported in Smithfield, Wakefield Burrillville and Tiverton. Thousands of households have lost electricity.
