The scouts of Troop 1, East Greenwich braved 51 degree temperatures and pouring rain on their 17 mile journey though the Hudson River Gorge. Despite the conditions, the scouts enjoyed the exciting river ride. Guides from Wild Water Outdoor Center in Warrensburg made the the trip fun and taught the scouts a little bit about the river and its history.
Though three tents were flooded on return to base camp, the scouts chose to weather the cold and damp for one more night.
